Privacy statement
Last updated: 9 August 2026.
E-canvasser B.V., located at Rapenburg 54A, 1011 TZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 64998819, is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this statement.
This statement applies to E-canvasser’s public website and contact form. Personal data processed as part of a client engagement is also governed by the arrangements made with that client.
What data do we process?
When you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, message and confirmation that you have read this privacy statement. The form stores the submission in the secured WordPress environment and sends a copy by email. Do not submit special-category or criminal-offence data unless this is necessary and has been agreed with us in advance.
The website, hosting and security environment also processes limited technical data, such as an IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser information and security or email delivery logs.
Purposes and legal bases
We use your data to answer your question, remain in contact with you, take steps before a possible contract, provide our services and keep the website secure and reliable. Depending on the situation, the legal basis is your request, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, your consent or our legitimate interest in providing reliable and secure services.
Contact-form data is not used for advertising profiles or solely automated decisions that produce legal effects.
Retention periods
In principle, we delete contact requests and related correspondence no later than twelve months after the last substantive contact. We retain information required for a contract, legal retention obligation or dispute for as long as that purpose requires. Technical, security and email delivery logs are deleted or rotated when no longer needed; relevant data may be retained longer to investigate and document a security incident.
Sharing with service providers
We do not sell your data. Service providers may process data on our behalf for hosting, email delivery, website management and security. We limit this to what is necessary and make appropriate arrangements concerning security and confidentiality. We disclose data where required by law.
Cookies and external services
The public website only uses technical and functional storage needed for WordPress, security, forms and language selection. E-canvasser currently does not place a Google Analytics tag or use advertising or marketing cookies. Google Site Kit remains available only for administrative features such as PageSpeed Insights; this feature does not place an Analytics tag for visitors. If the technical setup changes, we will update this statement and, where required, the consent choice.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your personal data. You may object to processing and withdraw previously given consent. Use the contact form and state that your message concerns a privacy request. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity securely.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security and changes
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We may update this statement when our working practices or the website change. The current version is always available on this page.
If you have a privacy question or suspect misuse, use the contact form.
